Chazz Kirkland played D3 baseball at Iowa Wesleyan University before stepping away from the game in 2019. In 2023, he returned to baseball with the Northern Colorado Owlz in the Pioneer League and the Salem Senators in the Mavericks League, where he drove in 17 runs with one home run.
