Jake “Army” Armstrong debuts with Cosmic Baseball after playing Indy Ball with the Birmingham-Bloomfield Beavers of the USPBL, striking out 32 hitters in 46.2 innings. He attended Western Illinois University from 2021–23, earning Breakthrough Athlete of the Year honors in his final season, and played at UW–Milwaukee for three seasons before that. In 2024, he pitched for the Joliet Slammers in the Frontier League, tossing 91 innings and striking out 64.
