Maceo Campbell comes to the Chili Peppers as a midseason signing to bolster the pitching staff and add some professional pedigree. He played D1 ball at Longwood University from 2017-2020 before being signed by the Boston Red Sox. Across three seasons in MiLB, Campbell made it as high as High-A with the Greenville Drive, and struck out an astonishing 126 hitters in 96.2 innings. He has since played two seasons in Indy Ball in the Atlantic League from 2024-2025, racking up 124 more strikeouts across stints with the Charleston Dirty Birds, Southern Maryland Blue Crabs, and Lancaster Stormers.
