Dave Matthews enters the ring as the newest member of the Chili Peppers, brought in by Dustin Felvus to add some serious pop to the lineup. After playing D1 ball with Central Connecticut State from 2019-2021, he joined the Frontier League where he quickly became a premier power threat. In 2023 and 2024 with the Northern Colorado Owlz, he mashed 41 home runs and drove in 149 runs in 170 games, hitting over .325 both seasons. In 2026, he played for the Kane County Cougars in the American Association before coming to Cosmic Baseball.
