Sam Hanson returns to Cosmic Baseball as a sidearm specialist on the mound. Before his Cosmic debut last year, he played five years of college ball at Minnesota State–Mankato, Saint John’s, and Seattle, racking up 48 strikeouts in 36.2 career innings. He also spent four years in the Northwoods League with the Bismarck Larks, Minnesota Mud Puppies, and Rochester Honkers, and was the No. 3 overall left-handed pitcher out of high school in Minnesota.
